Promoting Menstrual Hygiene Awareness

The program aims to educate adolescent girls and women about menstrual hygiene, an often-overlooked topic. Many young women feel embarrassed or uncomfortable discussing their menstrual health, leading to misinformation and practices that can affect their overall health. Through informative talks, participants learn about the significance of maintaining good menstrual hygiene. Furthermore, the distribution of sanitary napkins ensures that they have the necessary resources to manage their menstrual cycles responsibly.

Training in Self-Defense and Yoga

In addition to menstrual hygiene, the program places a strong emphasis on empowering young girls with self-defense techniques. To date, more than 415 ladies have benefitted from this comprehensive program, showcasing the positive impact of combining education on female reproductive health with practical skills. By addressing topics like menstrual hygiene, self-defense, and the physical practice of yoga, this initiative is making significant strides in enhancing the lives of young girls and women, fostering empowerment and confidence that will last a lifetime.
