PMKVY – Skill Development & Vocational Training Initiatives

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), SPOWAC has successfully implemented a series of vocational training programs aimed at empowering youth with industry-relevant skills and improved employment opportunities. Through this initiative, we have trained participants in key sectors such as Retail, Data Entry, Marketing, and other disciplines aligned with various Sector Skill Councils.

Our PMKVY program focused on providing high-quality, practical, and job-oriented training that meets current industry standards. Each course included hands-on learning, professional grooming, digital literacy, and soft-skills development to ensure holistic preparation for the workforce. Assessments were conducted through authorized Sector Skill Councils, ensuring nationally recognized certification for every eligible candidate.

Through these courses, many young learners gained confidence, improved their technical abilities, and became job-ready for roles in retail services, digital operations, sales promotion, customer support, and administrative work. SPOWAC also facilitated career counselling, placement support, and linkages with employers to help trained candidates transition smoothly into the job market.

By implementing PMKVY, SPOWAC has contributed to bridging the skill gap, strengthening youth employability, and creating pathways for sustainable livelihoods. Our continued efforts in skill development reflect our commitment to building a skilled, confident, and economically empowered community.
