Wara Para Project

SPOWAC has entered into an understanding with the above organization to carry out this project in the slums of sec-1, Dwarka to organize the children into informal learning activities. The project focuses on steering the cognitive process of these children and bringing out their hidden talents. A theme is selected and the children are made to create a tree on the wall and portrait a story, it depicts. A mini library is also created on the wall by the name of Wall-O-Books and the children are encouraged to contribute stories and study materials into the folders made for the purpose. The children are made to select leaders amongst themselves to take responsibilities on various tasks such as managing the library, keeping minutes of the decisions taken and future plan etc.
